About CyberInventors

CyberInventors is a directory built around a single conviction: the women founding and leading cybersecurity companies deserve to be seen. Not as a footnote. Not in a sidebar labeled "diversity." Front and center.

Why We Exist

Women make up roughly 24% of the cybersecurity workforce — and a far smaller fraction of its founders. When coverage of the industry appears, it almost always centers the product, the funding round, or the company name. The person who built it, and the journey that got them there, rarely leads the story.

CyberInventors flips that. Every profile starts with the founder. The company comes second.

What We Do

  • Founder directory — a curated, searchable index of women founders and senior leaders in cybersecurity, linked to the companies they built.
  • News feed — aggregated coverage from across the security media landscape, surfacing stories about these founders and their work as they happen.
  • Submissions — anyone can nominate a founder or company for inclusion. We review every submission.

Who We Include

We cover women who founded or co-founded a cybersecurity company, as well as senior women leaders (C-suite, VP) who are driving meaningful technical or strategic work at security-focused organizations. We focus on:

  • Founders at any stage — from pre-seed through public
  • Companies solving real security problems with real customers
  • Leaders with demonstrated domain expertise, not just titles
